If you have any kenpo comments that you'd like to share to your FB wall, please post it here.
Adult Kenpo Karate Classes are available twice a week. There is a fear among some adults (those who are a little older than high school or college age), ahem, that taking karate will be too difficult.
I'm here to assure you that that's not the case. We make sure every class is geared and appropriate for whatever level you're coming in at. We want to make you sweat, smile and learn something and that can happen at any age and any level.
Women can feel comfortable in this class, as it is taught by a woman, well-seasoned in the martial arts.
And men can feel good knowing that you will learn to hit hard, be fast and to develop strong basics. We hit hard (using control, of course) and for those men who want a bigger challenge, we have several male black belts who hit even harder.
KENPO ORPHANS WELCOME!
One of the coolest things about our school is the wealth of kenpo information and perspectives that we have. We have people from a wide variety of lineages, so we have a much more open-minded view of kenpo and movement. If you are a trained kenpoist and just want someone to work out with, please contact Renee and join us. We have met quite a few local martial artists who have been without an instructor for awhile and we have enjoyed the expertise and perspectives that they bring to the table.
The other cool and unusual thing about our school is that we have 1 main black belt instructor, Renee Neal, as well as several other black belts (Aron, Rich a few others who drop in occasionally.) It makes our school incredibly diverse and interesting. We are always learning, always growing and we'd love to have you part of our group.
To be a member of our school, you only need an open mind, an interest in learning good kenpo and a good sense of humor. The occasional (or frequent) laugh takes a lot of the sting out of the punches.
To find more information, you may write to Renee and she will be happy to help you.
We have classes for adults and children alike. The children will get to learn self-discipline and respect for adults. They will also learn the basics of self-defense.
